Terms of Use
These Terms govern your access to Moneatly, the iOS app, assisted features, household sharing, and the public website.
Acceptance
By downloading, accessing, or using Moneatly, you agree to these Terms of Use, the Privacy Policy, any in-app notices, and any App Store terms that apply to your download. If you do not agree, do not use Moneatly.
Moneatly is operated by the person or legal entity that publishes the app and website under the Moneatly name. Until formal company registration details are published, legal notices should be sent to support@moneatly.tech.
You must be at least 18 years old to create or control a Moneatly account. If you add information about another person, household member, child, spouse, relative, employee, or invitee, you represent that you have the authority and lawful basis to do so.
The service
Moneatly helps households manually track spending, income, bills, budgets, members, receipts, transaction drafts, imports, and backups. Moneatly does not connect to bank accounts, does not request bank credentials, does not provide a payment account, does not transfer funds, and does not make payments for you.
Moneatly is a record-keeping and planning tool. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of records you enter, decisions you make, bills you pay or miss, taxes you file, budgets you follow, investments you make, and any household or financial actions you take.
Moneatly may change, suspend, restrict, replace, or discontinue features, limits, providers, app flows, assisted features, data structures, or availability where allowed by law. We may release updates that are required for security, compatibility, or legal compliance.
Accounts and security
You are responsible for protecting your Apple account, Google account, device, passcodes, recovery methods, and any credentials used to access Moneatly. Actions taken through your authenticated account may be treated as authorized unless we have reason to know they are unauthorized.
You must provide accurate information, keep account access secure, promptly report suspected unauthorized access, and avoid sharing household invitations or data with people who should not receive them.
Account deletion is available in the app. Some deletion flows may require confirmation text. If you own a household with other authenticated users, you may need to transfer ownership or delete the household before deleting your account. Deletion does not guarantee immediate removal from backups or deletion of records we must retain for legal, security, fraud, tax, or dispute purposes.
Household sharing and user content
You retain your rights in records, text, images, receipts, screenshots, messages, profile photos, member data, and other content you submit to Moneatly. You grant Moneatly a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, copy, process, encrypt, decrypt, transmit, display, analyze, back up, restore, and otherwise use that content as necessary to operate, secure, support, improve, and enforce Moneatly.
Household owners and members may be able to see shared records. If you add someone to a household, you are responsible for ensuring that sharing is lawful, appropriate, and authorized. If you accept an invitation, your activity and household records may be visible to other authorized household users.
You must not upload or store unlawful content, secrets you are not allowed to share, account credentials, payment card secrets, government identifiers unless strictly necessary, medical data, explicit content, harassment, malware, or content that violates another person's rights.
Apple terms
Moneatly is distributed through Apple. Download availability, device requirements, refunds, and App Store account operations are managed by Apple and your App Store account.
Moneatly cannot directly manage your Apple account, charge your App Store payment method outside Apple's systems, or guarantee that Apple will issue a refund.
Where Apple requires it, the Apple Standard EULA applies to your licensed use of the iOS app unless these Terms provide additional terms that are permitted by Apple and not inconsistent with the Apple Standard EULA. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms for the iOS app and may enforce the Apple-related provisions against you.
AI features and no professional advice
Moneatly may provide assisted summaries, transaction drafts, receipt analysis, bill analysis, payment proof analysis, bank-message analysis, and finance screenshot analysis. Assisted outputs are generated from records or inputs submitted by users and may be wrong, incomplete, delayed, biased, unsafe, or unsuitable for your situation.
Moneatly does not provide financial, investment, legal, tax, accounting, credit, insurance, banking, debt counseling, or professional advice. Assisted outputs are informational only. Do not rely on Moneatly as the sole basis for paying bills, making purchases, investing, borrowing, lending, filing taxes, taking legal action, or making financial decisions.
You must review all AI outputs, transaction drafts, dates, amounts, merchants, categories, member assignments, budgets, and recommendations before using them. You are responsible for corrections and consequences.

- Do not bypass app limits, forge StoreKit evidence, manipulate account state, abuse App Store refunds, submit false support claims, or use another person's account without permission.

- Do not use Moneatly for commercial banking, regulated financial advice, payment processing, fraud, gambling, high-risk decisions, emergency decisions, or activities where an error could cause serious harm.
- Do not violate applicable laws, sanctions, export controls, privacy rights, intellectual property rights, consumer rights, or platform rules.
Third-party services
Moneatly depends on third-party platforms and providers, including Apple, Google, Firebase, Google Cloud, OpenAI, hosting providers, and email/support providers. Their terms, privacy policies, outages, restrictions, data processing practices, and decisions may affect Moneatly. We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent required by applicable law.
Intellectual property
Moneatly, the website, app design, branding, logos, software, interfaces, text, graphics, and related materials are owned by Moneatly or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you, no rights are transferred.
You may use Moneatly only for lawful personal household finance tracking according to these Terms and applicable App Store rules.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to Moneatly where allowed by law if we believe you violated these Terms, created security risk, abused support flows, infringed rights, used the service unlawfully, or created risk for Moneatly, users, providers, or the public.
You may stop using Moneatly at any time. Some App Store account operations must be handled directly through Apple where applicable.
Disclaimers and liability limits
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneatly is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of accuracy, uninterrupted operation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, security, availability, data preservation, assisted output quality, or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneatly will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages; lost profits; lost revenue; lost savings; missed bills; financial losses; tax consequences; investment losses; loss of goodwill; data loss; business interruption; device failure; provider outage; unauthorized access; or assisted-output errors, even if advised of the possibility.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Moneatly's total liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the greater of: the amount you paid for Moneatly through Apple during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD 50. If your jurisdiction does not allow this cap, liability is limited to the lowest amount permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence where non-waivable, death or personal injury caused by negligence where applicable, statutory consumer rights, mandatory privacy rights, or rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Moneatly and its operators, affiliates, personnel, contractors, and providers from claims, losses, liabilities, damages, fines, costs, and expenses arising from your content, household sharing decisions, misuse of Moneatly, violation of these Terms, violation of law, infringement of rights, unauthorized account use, or use of AI outputs, except to the extent prohibited by law.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Turkey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless mandatory law in your country, state, or region requires another law or forum for consumer, privacy, or platform disputes.
Before filing a claim, you agree to contact support@moneatly.tech and give us a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally. This does not limit non-waivable rights to contact regulators, consumer authorities, Apple, courts, or other mandatory dispute bodies.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms when Moneatly changes, legal requirements change, providers change, or business structure changes. Updated Terms will be posted on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms, except where law requires a different process.
